How do I get this morning sickness to go away?
Morning sickness during pregnancy can be a real downer during your first trimester. Morning sickness usually ends around 12 weeks, so there is hope! These morning sickness cures may bring relief in the meantime:
- Sip on peppermint, ginger or chamomile tea or make your own iced-tea (rooibos with ginger or peppermint) and store in the fridge for easy access.
- Try not to go without food as an empty stomach will make you feel worse. Try dry biscuits such as Marie biscuits or green apples.
- Avoid caffeine, alcohol, sigarettes, greasy/fried food, cabbage and cauliflower.
- Have something small to eat before you go to sleep at night.
