I’ve had my period but I still think I’m pregnant?
It is not impossible to have periods and be pregnant. Some pregnant women have regular periods all the time. If your home pregnancy test is negative, contact your doctor and ask for a blood test. Pregnancy tests are designed to tell if your urine or blood contains a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). This hormone is produced right after a fertilized egg attaches to the wall of a woman’s uterus. Blood test can detect this hormone (hCG) much earlier, and so will give you a clearer result.
