Children need tender guidance in dealing with a divorce

Divorce plans might soak up all of mom or dad’s time and energy which might make them forget (momentarily) that their children desperately need to understand what is busy happening. It’s a great idea to get them a book that they will be able to relate to; reassuring them that this is not their fault and that nothing they do, or don’t do, can change it. Parents might also need assistance in helping the children deal with the grief or losing a parent whilst encouraging them at the same time.
